Wu-Tang
Killarmy's Dom Pachino [aka P.R. Terrorist] readies a sequel to
his first ever solo outing "Tera.
Iz Him" which was considered a
classic, sold out and got reprinted to sell out numerous times.
Tera. Iz. Him 2
continues the tradition with an enhancement that meets what his
die hard fans have come to expect. For an artist, entrepreneur,
producer, a&r, manager and more, one has to acknowledge that Dom
Pachino is probably one of the most underrated artists in the
game right now. One of the leading members of Killarmy, Dom P's
presence was dominate within a table of highly talented Mcs (9th
Prince, Islord, Shogun Assassin, Kinetic 9, and Killa sin), and
a producer (4th Disciple), probably the most popular member of
the group, without taking anything from the rest of the members,
fans used to debate between him and lyrically sharp Killa Sin to
be the best within the group. First to venture out after the
group's last album, Dom P was the only one holding the Killarmy
flag and Puerto Rican pride within the Wu for a while,
releasing a catalogue of albums, collabos and projects that kept
Killarmy name's alive, up to 210 songs floating around, this man
is rightly fully considered "the hardest working man" in the
business, P has paid all dues and have always been a step ahead
of the game, which in retrospect might not have been beneficial
to his movement, especially as its taken his fan a longer time
to catch up to Dom Pachino's brilliance. |

Seems people tend to appreciate
something when its not there any more, this could
possibly be Dom P's last ever album? Is the Killarmy
reunion ever going to happen? Is he cool or
not with Wu-Tang? all this answers and more can be
found on his new album "Tera.
Iz. Him part 2, which
comes out and can be bought via his own imprint
Napalm recordings
on the 3rd of November 2009 and features the likes of Warcloud aka Holocaust (Westcoast Wu-Tang Killa Beez),
Bronze Nazareth, Killarmy, Shyheim and his own
artists Bugsy Da God and Just Da Barbar.
As
P prepares to return to the West coast for an
exclusive tour, Wu-International catches up with the
man to find out what goes through the mind of a
Puerto Rican Tera. Enjoy!! |
I like to say thanks first and foremost for
taking the time to answer these questions, highly
appreciated, and will also point out that nothing will be
altered, edited or changed when this is published online.
Wu-International: Peace P, how you been?
Dom Pachino: I'm Grand
Wu-International: Tera Iz him part 2 is finally here,
what can fans expect from this release?
Dom Pachino: The rebirth of PR TERRORIST!
Wu-International: Is there any particular reason you
have decided to release a part 2?
Dom Pachino: I Moved about a year ago from my spot
and after settling in to my new spot I found my old doctrine
that had all my old lyrics from TERA.IZ.HIM in it and a lil
of unreleased so it inspired me to do the part 2. Actually
this might be my last solo project ever if this situation I
have pending don't materialize.
Wu-International: How does part 2 differ from part 1?
Dom Pachino: Different producers and some different
MC's. Its different time in life. new year, new thoughts same
approach, same hunger, more experience, a better
understanding of the game and my position in it in these
days and times.
Wu-International: Is this a Dom P or a P.R. album?
Dom Pachino: Terrorist shit!!!! Grab A Hold of
it!!!!!!!
Wu-International: Are there any songs that stand out
for you on this album and why?
Dom Pachino: (BONE MARROW) I just love the flow and
the beat is sick. (YOU USE TO BE) Its just a flash back of
my career my personal journey in the game and how things
changed Produced by Bronze, also a sick beat.
Wu-International: Your last album "Power Rules" was
put out via Chambermusik, is that the case for this release?
Dom Pachino: Not at all, the album will be released
on Napalm recordings and only naplamrecordings.com will
house it along with all digital outlets itunes, rhapsody,
napster, amazon etc. just like the rest of my catalog.
Wu-International: Fans were delighted to see you and
Holocaust on a track again, how did that collabo come about?
Dom Pachino:
He was suppose to be on
one of my P.R TERRORIST project's but he flew me a verse and
it was too off beat and didn't really fit the tracks, so I
just got him with a new verse on T2 that was right up my
alley and made a good song.
Wu-International: The guest
lists were as expected, was there anyone you wanted to work
with on this project that never happened?
Dom
Pachino:
Yeah Shogun but it wasn't possible due to technicalities,
nothing personal he wanted to do it also.
Wu-International:
The song “Monkey’s laugh too” was initially listed to
feature 9th Prince on it and later changed to feature
Shyheim, was this a typo or a different/changed track?
Dom Pachino: Neither I just felt he didn't come hard
enuff on it and he agreed.
Wu-International: Crunch Lo was meant to be coming
out with something under Napalm, what’s the current
situation with that?
Dom Pachino:
Spoke to him today we
putting the pieces together.
Wu-International: When will that Dom Pachino and
Shyhiem collabo album happen?
Dom Pachino: I'm with Shy every other week yet we
can't put a damn album together.. that's a joke right? he
just asked me about it a week ago but we both be
bullshitting we really need to though after my tour probably
go in on it hard.
Wu-International: Apart from rhyming, most still
don’t know you produce, mix and arrange most of your songs,
will you ever consider doing an album or project where you
just produce for others?
Dom Pachino: Doing that now with BUGSY DA GOD and THE
TERABAN.
Wu-International: what’s good with "Life Of a
performer Part 2" DVD?
Dom Pachino: After my tour XMAS release I
promise.
Wu-International: Divino clothing line in the markets
yet?
Dom Pachino: NOT YET but I will show a sample on my
tour in November.
Wu-International: See you got a West coast tour
planned with Bomshot soon, how is that going?
Dom Pachino: Real good I'm glad to go back to my old
home I use to live out there in Cali in 98 I miss it plus
they have deep love for HIP-HOP out there.
Wu-International: Have to say fans were surprised to
see you team up with Bomshot, how did that happen?
Dom Pachino: Bomshot's been in touch with me for
sometime now so we put some dates together and made it
happen.
Wu-International: Who else will be in that
tour?
Dom Pachino:
Just Da Barber,
Bugsy Da god.
Wu-International: A Killarmy greatest hits
album was meant to come out via Koch this year but
was later scrapped; word is that you were
responsible for that? Would you like to speak on
that please?
Dom Pachino: Yeah well 9th worked a deal
without the rest of group's knowledge the way I
found out is by one of my online rep's that seen it
being promoted in a Wu forum then I contacted the
company and they told me a check has been cut
already so I gave the label a chance to work it out
or cancel it since my lyric's was on 12 out of 17
songs and they decided not to release it and put a
stop on the check due to faulty business in the
first place and that was understandable. You gotta
love 9th for the attempt though {Laughs} We are
still brothers though, always. |
 |
Wu-International: The scrapping of that album also
meant 9th Prince finding another home for his solo project,
anything to say to that?
Dom Pachino: Do things the right way and they won't
go wrong, JUSTICE IS THE REWARD OR PENALTY FOR ONE'S ACT'S
OR DEEDS.
Wu-International: I am sure you are tired of
this question but sorry, fans always want to know if a
Killarmy album would ever be possible and what steps are
being taken towards this at this very moment?
Dom Pachino:
I HONESTLY DON'T SEE IT HAPPENING SORRY TO ALL THE FAN'S BUT
I TRIED ON MANY OCCASIONS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. Last time I
tried I was recording for it in Napalm studio's and we was
putting things together and 9th took 3 or 4 of the KILLARMY
tracks and use them as bonus tracks on the re-release of
PONY for wack ass BABYGRANDE records without my knowledge
again. So I'm exhausted plus KILLA SIN don't wanna partake
so the world is left with 3 classic album's.
Wu-International:
In a survey of favourite groups within the Wu, the top 2
have always remained Sunz of Man and Killarmy, with Killarmy
coming on top most of the time, how do you feel about this?
Dom Pachino:
It feels good to see talent and hard work not get
overlooked. For such an odd group of individuals we sure had
great chemistry when we formed like Voltron {Laughs}
Wu-International:
Thanks, so what’s next after the album and tour for Dom
Pachino and the rest of 2009 and beyond?
Dom Pachino:
A pending TeraZone LP, A
Teraban album, Bugsy Da God album, The Life of... Part 2
DVD, Shyheim and Dom P release, Eastcoast spring tour, and
spending time with my family. I just had my young god, he's
the best!
Wu-International:
Any last words, parting phrase for the fans?
Dom Pachino:
Thanks to
Wu-international for all your support throughout the years
its well appreciated and peace to all my die hard terrorist
fan,s I love ya'll niggas. All the support on T2 has been
great pre-sales are through the roof just to let the haters
know. Peace to the whole team, Napalm, Metalcells Media,
T2 November 3rd. 100!
