Interview
|

Apart from being
the head and founding member of The Lost Children of Babylon,
Rasul Shariyf Abdul Rahmaan Muhammad El aka Rasul Allah 7 is a
Sufi student of the El Khalwaatiyah Order and also a member of
various Masonic orders including Supreme Counsel Of Louisiana
Ancient Excepted Scottish Right of Freemasons, Mahdi ..19
Shriner Temple, The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, The
Beverly Hall Fraternal Rose Crucis, The Ordo Templi Orientis ,
The A.A., The Ancient Egiptian Order, The Ancient Mystic Order
of Melchizedek, The Khalwaatiya order of Sudan, The Sons of the
Green Light, Knights of the Chivalry Order of the Holy Grail,
Knights of the Templar.
With the intention
of retelling his-story and correcting all the historical errors
of the 21st century, Rasul's stated mission is to equip people
with the information Nuwaupu, or right knowledge, right wisdom
and right over-standing mixed with mathematics, theology,
metaphysics, philosophy, Gnostics and so on to explain the
hidden and stolen legacy of his race in the world through
symbolism.
A symbolist
Egyptologist, Rasul has chosen music as the forum or vehicle to
deliver this teaching and message, calling himself a student of
many and master to none, his drive and vision is what led him to
put together a team under the umbrella of The Lost Children of
Babylon, a two man crew that later became five and then nine at
one point and currently seven (alongside Richard Raw, Cosmic
Crusader, Atun Sen Geb, Ancient Kemet, John Murdock, Lex
Starwind, Stretch The Mad Scientist and White Lotus). Rasul has
gone on to release three successful albums, the fourth album was
just released yesterday,
"Zeitgeist: The Spirit Of The Age",
a production label, skate boarding team, side projects (G-Ciples
with Killah Priest, Official Pistol Gang with Vinnie Paz of Jedi
Mind Tricks etc), a world aliance and a recognisable brand and
much more.
With so many
members in the team, and only a few of the name recognisable
from people who are not familiar with the work, Wu-International
have decided to not just interview LCOB as a group but
individual members on a weekly basis so the fans can get to find
out and know more about LCOB. First interview is from Rasul
Allah as he addresses the groups new formation, discusses some
of the issues that were aired out by a former member of the
group, Amun Sen Hotep on the interview he did with us last year
Broken
Silence...., The new album, his affiliation with D.G.K,
Wu-Tang if any, and much more... Enjoy!! |
I like to say thanks first and foremost for
taking the time to answer these questions, highly
appreciated, and will also point out that nothing will be
altered, edited or changed when this is published online.
Wu-International: Hello Rasual, how are you?
Rasul Allah 7: Feeling pretty good! Just getting
ready for the new Lost children of Babylon album to drop.
Wu-International: We will get to the album but we are
going to address the controversy surrounding your camp from
last year. Can you first confirm with us the current and
official full line up of LCOB members?
Rasul Allah 7: YES!!! Rasul Allah 7,Rich Raw, Cosmic
Crusader, Atun Sen Geb, Stretch The MAD scientist, AND the
two newest members Jon Murdock and Lex Starwind.
Wu-International: Did you leave out Breath of Judah
and Ancient Kemet by mistake?
Rasul Allah 7: Yes, apologies, Ancient Kemet is still
part of the group but Breath of Judah has left the game, he
does not rap any more.
Wu-International: Ok, so we move on to a former
member of the group Amun Sen Hotep who aired out his
differences with the group and especially you on an
interview we
had with him last year. Can you please confirm his status
within the group as he claims to still be part of LCOB via
contracts with Babygrande?
Rasul Allah 7:
First of all, we are not
signed to Babygrande any more. Amun claim to be part of LCOB,
but I kicked his fuckin ass out of the group for contractual
disagreements.
Wu-International: We ask this as at the time of the
interview we had with him last year, you still had his
picture and name on your group bios, main page and so on,
why is he no longer part of the group?
Rasul Allah 7:
First off, we were busy working on the new album so we had
no time to change the site in any way although now we have
new pictures of the group posted. Second off the REASON why
I kicked him out the group was because when BabyGrande gave
us the first contract of our careers nobody disagreed with
it except HIM… when it came to sign it he was the only FOOL
that didn't want to do it because he believed he deserved
more money than he was offered. So what he did was go get a
lawyer and talked me into signing a NEW contract that gave
him more money. The only reason I signed it was because I
realized that if he wasn’t down then babygrande was not
paying any of us. So that’s what happened and that’s why I
kicked him the fuck out as he put us in a fucked up
situation. Fuck that shit Nahmean?
Wu-International: You wrote us last year about this
where you said Amun left due to contract, this is a claim
that Amun disputed on our last interview which you have
read, so whose version of events is accurate?
Rasul Allah 7:
The situation was just broken down to you in the last
question’s and answer so if you don’t know do your research.
Wu-International: Ok, other questions that aroused
during that interview was that of Warcloud aka Holocaust who
was said to be a replacement in the group for Amun, another
claim Amun claimed to be false. Warcloud has not been
featured on any of your projects to date either, can you
tell us more about Holocausts involvement if any and why you
wanted him to be apart of the group?
Rasul Allah 7:
At the time I was living out in LA and I was always hanging
out with Holocaust a lot and we were about to do some mix
tapes, but then I said “you wanna be down with LCOB in the
group?” he said “yeah”. After a couple of events and time
passed we thought it over for a day or so and realized it
wasn’t a good idea. That’s still my homie though!!!
Wu-International:
Amun claimed to have
recorded material for your new album on songs such as
“Prison Planet” etc, will his verse be on the final cut if
the songs he recorded on are used for the project?
Rasul Allah 7:
Well when I came back to
Philadelphia in 2009 to finish the LCOB album I thought
about how it'd be corny to not have all the original members
involved despite the fact that he robbed us. So I reached
out to him, we met up had a talk and brought him up to the
studio and actually let him record that whack ass verse!
Then the next day I called him and said he had to sign a
contract and then he tried doing the Babygrande shit to me
again so I was like fuck this piece of shit! Left him in the
dust and kept it moving!
Wu-International: So I take it his verse wont be used
then? Do you as the leader make execute decision for the
group or do you consult each member?
Rasul Allah 7:
Yes, Me and the Cosmic Crusader are the C.E.O’s of LCOB
productions.
Wu-International: Did you consult other members and
how do they feel about your decision?
Rasul Allah 7:
They think it was a great decision kickin his stupid ass to
the curb. They also feel we have upgraded with our new
members Lex Starwind and Jon Murdock.
Wu-International: Well, Amun claims to be cool with
most of the members in LCOB except for you, any particular
reason the two of you fell out?
Rasul Allah 7:
Yo Yall got it fuckin
twisted, this dudes a fuckin noodle and don’t nobody in the
muthafukin squad fuck with him period. He's a dickhead
straight up.
Wu-International: Another claim was that he as the
hidden Sun was the ghost writer of most of the songs off the
group's albums, how true is this and what’s your take on him
calling himself the hidden Sun in the LCOB logo?
Rasul Allah 7:
This guy is fucking ridiculous he wasn’t even in the first
album, he’s in the second and third. All his rhymes are wack,
he's not event that ill. Nowhere in our logo do you see the
sun. The 4 letters in our name were inspired by the famous
statue at Love Park which is 4 letters. At heart I'm a
skateboarder and that shit was my turf!! So it was
only right to be inspired by that epic logo. The swords
represent the affiliation I have with the Suns of Man and
the Wu -Tang Clan and because the cross-swords are a
representation of the tongue which was something I picked up
studying from the Wu-Tang Clan's verses as well as the Bible
and holy books. So as far as Amun goes, he's no hidden
nothing, he's a wolf hidden in sheep's clothing.
Wu-International: Speaking on that Wu-Tang/Sunz of
Man logo/affiliation, we are not really aware of any direct
affiliation LCOB might have with Wu via RZA or any of the
generals, can you please tell us how if any LCOB is
affiliated with Wu?
Rasul Allah 7:
No, We are not Wu-Tang Killa Beez, and not directly
affiliated, but we are linked via Sunz of Man. Our network
is different from the Wu-Tang, but we are still the same
because we are all one!
Wu-International: Thanks for clearing that up, your
albums portrayed an affiliation with Wu-Tang’s Sunz of Man
and on your last interview, you said there was a joint
project coming up between both camps, is this still the case
and if so will that project involve all members of SOM?
Rasul Allah 7:
To be honest, at this very moment I do not know, I'm
still working on that thought so keep looking out for it.
Wu-International: Thanks, lets round up on Amun and
proceed to other part of the interview, he has said the
reason your album Zeitgeist took this long to come out was
due to his departure?
Rasul Allah 7:
HELL NO! we just have had no money cause he fucked up our
paper and I had to start all over again! So sorry to all our
fans but that’s why the fucking album took so long to get
done cause of this dickhead Amun, the fake hidden
sun.{Laughs Out Loud} That stupid muthafucka! We're the one
shinning like the sun now..
Wu-International: What are the chances or what would
it require for Amun to rejoin the group again if he wanted
to?
Rasul Allah 7:
He would probably have to
lick a baboons ass and he still wouldn’t be allowed back
{Laughs out loud} But fuck this dude, he's no longer going
to dictate this interview. I am done with him.
|
Wu-International:
Agreed, we are playing a neutral role here and acting as
just a mediator, one last question though, is there anything
you would like to say to Amun if he is reading this
interview? |
 |
|
Rasul Allah 7:
You are a
black devil and you will never make it
reppin LCOB. Stop co tailing our group and
quit trying to slander us to make a name for
yourself. But don't quit selling them
incense and oils for your day job and
oh yeah, the bootleg DVDs you sell also. You
bite the hands that feed you, I put you on
and you disrespected us, so as I put you on,
I took you off! |
Wu-International: Thanks for answering all
those questions, lets move on to LCOB and your
upcoming album "Zeitgeist", interesting title, why
have you called it Zeitgeist?
Rasul Allah 7:
Zeitgeist is the
German name for the spirit of time. We are living
under the spell of sleep that was cast upon us 6000
years ago. So we are living under a different force
which makes the people of this planet live in a
state of sleep and the Lost Children are here to
wake this world up.
Wu-International: Interesting date also,
September 11th, was this by coincidence or as suspected by
fans the group intentionally planned on releasing it on this
date for what ever reasons?
Rasul Allah 7:
Yes it was intentional,
but we actually wanna change it to a later date to give you
the whole wax, CDs and an online release with free album and
skateboard giveaways etc, what you guys think about that
now? The official date is now October 18th, and no longer
9-11 and it is coming out through Chambermusik.
Wu-International: Thanks, is "Zeitgeist: The
spirit of the Age" the same album as “The Appendices: The
Scroll of lost tales” which was initially meant to be the
next album, or two different albums?
Rasul Allah 7:
They are 2 different
albums and yes “The Apprentices” is coming out fully
produced by the White Lotus, Chief of the Lotus Clan.
Wu-International: What can the fans
expect with this album, will you be dealing with the usual
subjects, or exploring different territories this time
around?
Rasul Allah 7:
We will be exploring new
territories pertaining more to the theories of the
zeitgeist..
Wu-International: So does that mean there would less
spiritualism and Nuwabia doctrines on this?
Rasul Allah 7:
Yes everything is covered
here but mixed with the concepts of the zeitgeist.
Wu-International: The group's portrayed Obama as the
antichrist on your MySpace page, what is the rational behind
that?
Rasul Allah 7: Those are just jokes I support
and love the people of America. It’s a joke though because
all politicians are jokes and puppets so we must make fun of
them.
Wu-International: We assume you did not vote for him
then?
Rasul Allah 7: I don’t vote because we all know the
majority vote does not matter and the people who get put on
that stage that we get to vote for are put there by the
people who have all the money and the power so no matter who
wins the same people will still have all the money and
power., it’s a corporatetocricy, not a presidency, so think
about that.
Wu-International: Thanks, back to the music, LCOB has
grown into an empire all over the globe from Canada, UK,
Poland and so on, why have you taken that step in appointing
a rep almost in every country?
Rasul Allah 7: The message must be spread all across
the four corners of the planet earth and we will all meet in
the middle to form a pyramid. Because we are all THE LOST
CHILDREN OF BABYLON! Everyone reading this right now is a
part of the Lost Children of Babylon!
Wu-International: Most of the die hard fans feel this
has watered the street authenticity and creditability of the
group as you have literally signed every jack and Jill from
the country regardless of their skills or talents, what do
you have to say in regards to this?
Rasul Allah 7: Nah, you got me twisted I'm just a
networker and people reach out to me from all over the world
and since we are all THE LOST CHILDREN OF BABYLON I connect
with them to make my network even stronger through this life
journey!
Wu-International: So what are the requirements of
becoming an LCOB affiliate?
Rasul Allah 7:
Not everybody is an
affiliate and the people who are affiliates have skills and
check our site to see whose really SIGNED or down!
Wu-International: Can you then give us a list of some
of your rep so we know who the real affiliates are in
different countries please?
Rasul Allah 7:
White Lotus out of Canada, Six Sense from Germany, The Snow
Goons, Hit Farmers, Oman Rah, and Many Many More.
Wu-International: LCOB was also called Lost Children
of Egypt from your second offering, but still goes by LCOB,
is this an extension of the name and why the change if any?
Rasul Allah 7:
We just use two names to rep both ancient civilization.
Wu-International: You are also a member of Priest’s
G-Ciples, the roster keeps changing, can you please confirm
with us the current line up of G-ciples and what the
situation is with the group as far as albums and so on is
concerned?
Rasul Allah 7:
I don’t know you would
have to ask Killah Priest that.
Wu-International: How did the group come about and
you coming a part of it?
Rasul Allah 7:
I made up the name of the
group from reading the bible. Priest put it together.
Wu-International: Where you also part of the
Swordzmen?
Rasul Allah 7:
No, there is no group that I am in or aware of that is
called Swordsmen, Period!
Wu-International:
Your group used to be closely linked to Jedi Mind Tricks and
it seems you have been doing stuff with Vinnie Paz again as
Official Pistol Gang, please tell us more about your
involvement?
Rasul Allah 7:
My homie Vinnie Paz told
me about the new squad called the Pistol Gang so we took it
from there, big ups to the Jedi Mind tricks and the Army of
the Pharaohs.
Wu-International: Rich Raw has put out a lot of
projects, who among the LCOB members including yourself is
working on solo projects?
Rasul Allah 7:
Everybody is working on a solo project but the first two
will be the homies from The Foundation; Lex Starwind and
John Murdock.
Wu-International: Apart from music it seems you are
also active on the skating scene, can you please tell us
more about DGK and how you got involved with it?
Rasul Allah 7: I grew up skateboarding at Love Park
with my cousin Stevie Williams who is the owner and founder
of the DGK skateboards. D.G.K stands for Dirty Ghetto Kids
because that’s what people called us when we were skating
the streets of Philadelphia.
 |
Wu-International: Thanks for the answers, anything
else you like to share with the fans that have not been
covered as of now?
Rasul Allah 7:
Look out for the new album by The Lost Children Of Babylon..
"Zeitgeist: Spirit of the Age".
Wu-International: Thanks, this is pretty much the end
of the interview, any shout outs, warnings, thank you etc?
Rasul Allah 7:
Peace to the Wu Tang
Clan, Dark 7 Invader and all the staff at Wu-International, The Wu Killah Beez, Sunz of Man,
Killah Army, Cilver Rings, LCOB, The Foundation, Jedi Mind
Tricks, AOTP, Philadelphia, Shout Out to all My Skater
Homies. Peace |
